New versions of the Clubman have been announced by MINI, which are exclusive to the UK market. The Clubman Cooper D Black Pack costs £23,735 for the six-speed manual and £25,330 for the eight-speed automatic, representing a premium of £1,350 compared to the regular Cooper D models. Additional equipment includes 17-inch black net spoke alloy wheels, black bonnet stripes and a piano black interior, in addition to a navigation system, DAB radio and cruise control that comes as standard on all Clubman Cooper D models. The Black Pack models are available to order now from MINI dealers.
A host of enhancements have been added to the MINI range for the summer, including a more precise fuel gauge. All models will get clearer dials with enhanced graphics, with the letters and numbers appearing in white rather than orange. The new colour scheme is also being applied to the head-up display, while the height setting will now be stored in a personal profile on the vehicle key, along with settings for the positioning of exterior mirrors and the electric seats. Apple CarPlay is now included in the Media Pack XL or MINI Tech Pack for all Countryman and Clubman models, while a driver alertness system is now available to buy on all versions of the MINI Hatch and Convertible. The system constantly monitors the driver’s behaviour, and suggests taking a break when concentration levels are diminished.
